Porcelain fillings

Porcelain fillings are an excellent alternative to normal fillings because of the strength and aesthetic qualities of the material. It is strongly indicated in larger cavities and requires a 2 visit process similar to a dental crown. You will have a temporary filling during the week that you wait for your porcelain filling to come back from our lab. When your porcelain filling is ready, we will bond it to your tooth with a special cement which restores your teeth’s structural integrity and best of all it looks great!

Porcelain onlay

Porcelain onlays are indicated when the tooth have more extensive tooth damage and a filling is insufficient to restore the tooth structure. Usually the weakened tooth cusp is reduced and will be covered by the porcelain onlay. This is also used in cases of fractured tooth where the fracture is not severe enough to warrant a full dental crown. The procedure for a porcelain onlay is a 2 visit procedure similar to a dental crown.
