    Root canal treatment

    • Indicated when dental decay has progressed close to or into the pulp.
    • Typical symptoms are throbbing pain from the tooth affected and pain when chewing.
    • Root canal treatment is a procedure to clean out the disease nerve tissue inside the tooth and allow healing to occur and prevent the need to extract the tooth.
    • It is normally a 2-3 visit procedure. Each visit between 45 min to 1 hour.
    • Normally after root canal we recommend a crown to help protect the tooth from cracking.
